About Semi Permanent Make-Up
Semi permanent make-up is a very safe cosmetic procedure, whereby colour pigments are implanted into the dermal layers of the skin, using the most sophisticated and technologically advanced system available in the world to date, a process that can last up to 5 years.
Semi-permanent make-up is a revolutionary new way to look your best at all times, with as little effort as possible. Semi-permanent make-up helps to enhance your natural features. This includes using hair stoke simulation, increasing the intensity of your eyes by having a thin, natural liner on the top/bottom of the lashes, and also shaping your lips by making them look fuller.
So, whether you are a busy career woman or an active sports person or simply need a little confidence boost, why not opt for semi-permanent make-up? See the change in yourself and your reflection.
A patch test will be carried out during the initial consultation (which is free of charge) when you discuss what you would like to have during treatment. This will occur at least 48 hours prior to any potential treatment to make sure that no reaction occurs during or after the treatment. You will be advised to keep a close eye on it. If a reaction will show up it would be within a couple of hours and certainly within 48 hours. In this case, I will be unable to process the treatment. (Note that reactions are extremely rare). Also, during that first consultation you will be encouraged to ask as many questions as you want regarding the type of treatment and the colour required. Any and all questions related to the treatment will be answered as clearly as possible.
In the case of a lip treatment, if you tend to be subject to herpes (also called herpes simplex vs1 virus) it would be advisable to see your doctor for a prescription of Zovirax pills or Acyclovir as semi-permanent cosmetics could stimulate a cold sore outbreak.
When you have decided to go ahead with the treatment and made an appointment, you will be required to pay £50.00 in advance which will be redeemed against the total cost of the treatment. If you were to cancel your appointment less than 48 hours before, you would lose your deposit.
On the day
As you arrive for your appointment, you will be asked to complete a form regarding your medical history. Pictures will be taken before and after treatment for record purposes. Also, anesthetic numbing cream will be applied to the area for 20 minutes prior to reduce any potential discomfort and in most cases making it absolutely pain free.
Shape and colour will be discussed and the treatment will go ahead only once agreed. After the treatment (1 to 1.5 hours depending on which you choose) you will be given an aftercare cream plus information sheet to take away with you.
You will given an appointment for roughly 4 weeks later, at a convenient time for both, to discuss the work and, should it be necessary, have a touch up. If any retouches need to be done they will be free of charge.
